Salary: £31,327 potential to increase after the 6 months probation.

You will experience different areas of the business for 12 months in various Data & Technology departments learning a wider variety of skills and knowledge within IT. You will then be allocated two 6-month projects where you can apply your new skills to help run an IT or Business project end to end – these projects will add true value to the NHS, help towards improved patient care, and make a real difference. You will be allocated a mentor for the duration of your programme and the opportunity to gain 2-way feedback on your programme over the 2-year period.

With the support from others in the team, as a Graduate you will work with senior leaders in the business to develop strategic plans that closely support the business's goals. You will advise on the IT solutions needed to deliver the business plans in line with IT policy.

Our ambition is to develop you into an IT Professional and we will support you to achieve this through completion of a relevant professional qualification.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?

1. 2:2 classification degree or above achieved within the last three years ideally within IT.
2. Experience within IT, Data Management or Science, Cyber Security or Business.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well with people, strong organisational skills, numerical, writing, computer literacy, communication, and presentation skills.
4. Desire to work in or to support the NHS with a drive and ambition.
5. Any specific qualification required that a directorate needs.
