The Information Technology (IT) team is the backbone of our organization, ensuring the seamless and secure operation of our technology. The IT team plays a crucial role in managing our technology infrastructure, from resolving hardware and software issues to overseeing application updates and integrations, and monitoring SaaS applications, web traffic, and access to ensure a secure environment. We are committed to minimizing disruptions and ensuring uninterrupted access to essential resources through proactive support and timely resolutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Head of IT & Infrastructure, you will be a support focused engineer and will have a background in IT System administration. You’ll also be entrepreneurial and have the ability to work with a talented global team of engineers while demonstrating an appetite to gain good technical competency and ensuring that the highest levels of system availability, performance and security are met.

As an IT Enablement Engineer, you’ll be providing 1st/2nd line support functions for the service desk and support teams while also administering and maintaining IT cloud Infrastructure related technologies within Tide. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring the employee to work from the office five days a week.

As an IT Enablement Engineer, you’ll be:

  • Administering Tide’s Corporate IT and Infrastructure tech stack, managing current technologies, improving existing practices, integrating the multiples of SaaS applications with Tide systems.
  • Providing on-site technical support to end-users, addressing hardware & software issues promptly.
  • Responding to service requests and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining asset register, managing laptops, mobile devices, IT accessory inventory based on position and demand.
  • Responsible for user and device lifecycle management.
  • Managing & maintaining office IT Infrastructure including switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, wireless access points, meeting rooms and VC solutions.
  • Managing hardware, upgrades & secure disposal.
  • Providing 1st/2nd line systems and application-level support to end users.
  • Troubleshooting problems, answering questions and providing training on IT Systems to end users.
  • Identifying, testing, and implementing workarounds for reported issues.
  • Documenting procedures, policies, technical instructions and security practices.

What makes you a great fit:

  • You should possess strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You have basic knowledge about Okta.
  • You have knowledge about Windows devices and Windows OS troubleshooting, including device formatting and hardware preparation.
  • You have knowledge about Apple devices, Mac OS and its configuration.
  • You have a practical level of experience working with ITSM platforms and ticketing systems, specifically Atlassian (JIRA & Confluence).
  • Excellent customer focus and a can-do attitude and good communication skills.
  • You have working knowledge of the following MDM tools: JAMF Cloud and Microsoft Modern endpoint management tools - Intune.
