Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network security, infrastructure management, and emerging technologies. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our IT systems while driving innovation through the strategic use of technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage the comprehensive provision of IT services to an internal user base of over 500 staff, as well as remotely based partners and independent financial advisors.
• Work with the senior team to improve AML / KYC processes.
• Develop and implement a new IT strategy for the business.
• Drive the digitisation agenda and deliver business change from a technology point of view.
• Reposition IT to help the business and enable business growth, integral to business success.
• Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors.
• Lead a team of up to 25 people.
• Ability to work on a hybrid basis.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar IT leadership role within the financial services sector.
• Firm understanding of investments and asset management as a market sector is ideal.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives.
• Experience in driving digital transformation and delivering business change.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of financial IT systems and infrastructure.
