We’re now looking for an IT & Data Administrator to join our Tech team! Our Tech team is responsible for the successful implementation and effective use of technology to best support our work. This includes making sure that our hardware and applications are used effectively and securely, in line with data protection requirements. You’ll report to our Interim Director of Product and Tech, and be responsible for supporting our global team. This is a brilliant opportunity to super-charge our IT administration and data protection processes, improving our current procedures and helping to create new ones.
In your first 6 months you’ll:
- Take ownership of our endpoint management; using our MDM and RMM tools to ensure our endpoints are effectively and efficiently managed.
- Be responsible for our Google Workspace account, managing users, permissions, and data, whilst also leading a project to migrate seamlessly to a new domain.
- Take control of our IT asset inventory management including ownership of our fixed asset register, all hardware and physical storage.
- Work with our Senior Risk & Compliance Officer to mitigate cyber security risk. This will include implementing changes needed across all of our IT systems, including training staff and enforcing cyber security policies and best practices.
- Take over technical onboarding and offboarding which includes setting up laptops, posting them to new joiners, and ensuring we get laptops back when people leave. You’ll train new joiners on how to use our apps on their first day.
- Become the primary point of tech support for international staff, ensuring our users are empowered out of UK hours while minimizing any associated risk. This will include identifying super users and managing admin access to our systems.
