Position Overview
The IT Compliance Analyst is responsible for managing and owning the compliance programme for CRH Europe IT Infrastructure & Operations. They will ensure that all services delivered by the Infrastructure and Operations team are done so in line with all compliance requirements, including SOX controls. Working closely with all technology towers and key stakeholders to ensure that all compliance controls are evidenced.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  1. Participate in the Planning & Control Cycle, including:
    1. Assessing and standardization of the design of (SOX) controls to identify gaps, leading to recommendations and implementation
    2. Gaining assurance of third parties over outsourced (SOX) controls, contributing to the CRH IT framework and ensuring compliance with Company Europe / IT Security Policy
  2. Actively support companies in improving IT processes and ensure that IT audit recommendations are appropriately addressed
  3. Report to stakeholders on IT (SOX) controls and IT Compliance
  4. Actively look for improvement and efficiencies in the IT Compliance area and liaise those with Internal Audit and the Financial Reporting Controls function.

  3. Knowledge of IT security policies and practices

Experience / Education
You are/have:

  1. A Bachelor or Master degree in IT, risk and/or security management with 3 to 5 years of relevant experiences
  2. In depth knowledge of IT SOX testing as well as Application and General IT Controls, a CISA qualification is valued.
