IT Reseller / Channel Account Manager IT Sales

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Account Manager within our client, a leading international IT hardware solutions supplier.

You will have a proven track record in IT sales ideally with channel sales experience selling IT Hardware to resellers either from a wholesaler, distributor, or manufacturer background, and experience of selling servers would be a distinct advantage.

You will be joining a well-established team and taking over an existing account portfolio with a great opportunity to develop and earn a generation uncapped OTE in the region of 120k plus.

Account Development Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Execution: Sell the company's full range of IT hardware solutions.
  2. Experience in selling servers and IT hardware.
  3. Experience in selling component and IT/electronic components.
  4. Client Engagement: Contact and utilize existing client accounts to understand customer needs.
  5. Prospecting: In addition to developing your existing client base, you will be tasked with identifying and cold calling potential new customers to develop them into active clients.
  6. Customer Interaction: Respond to telephone and email queries, prepare and agree on written quotations.
  7. Database Management: Ensure the CRM database is accurate and up-to-date.
  8. Target Achievement: Meet personal weekly/monthly sales revenue and margin targets.
  9. Customer Expansion: Extend existing customers' purchases of the company's product range.
  10. Coordination: Liaise with Purchasing, Goods In, and Goods Out to meet customer expectations.
  11. Customer Meetings: Book, attend, and host customer meetings.
  12. Resilience: Able to handle rejection and persist in the face of challenges.
  13. Attention to Detail: Accurate in handling data and customer information.
  14. Relationship Building: Capable of developing strong customer relationships over the phone and in person.
  15. Proven Sales Track Record: Selling to resellers either from a wholesaler, distributor, or manufacturer.
  16. Good Telephone Manner: Clear and effective communication over the phone.
  17. Positive Attitude: Self-motivated and enthusiastic about the role.
  18. Willingness to Learn: Open to continuous learning and improvement.
