Job description

The IT Business Partner manages the relationship between the IT regional services team and Philippine-based Operating Companies. Ensures IT strategies are aligned to support business objectives and drives the forecasting and monitoring of the operating company IT budget. The scope of work will be at the Philippine Group level, acting as business relationship manager for Philippine-based operating companies. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with leaders both inside and outside the organization to ensure delivery of meaningful results from strategic initiatives.
  • Building strategic relationships with partners to stimulate, surface, and shape demand.
  • Establishing value management as a strategic organizational capability.
  • Demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills, building and maintaining strong relationships with operating companies, vendor partners, and IT teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Developing deep domain knowledge of the business organizational functions.
  • Being proactive and forward-thinking regarding changes in the external environment and organizational needs to ensure that the business can adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing landscape.
  • Working closely with operating companies to understand their social, environmental, and financial priorities and ensuring that the business is linked with these priorities. Acting as adviser and manager of the IT operating budgets for the operating company, to ensure financial transparency to drive informed decisions.
  • Advancing the “Business Relationship Management” capability beyond just the role and function, sharing ownership with the full BRM community with the aim of continuous improvement.
  • Championing a culture of shared ownership and constant organizational evolution.
  • Continually improving the value framework to drive organizational awareness and education.
  • Advocating as a champion of change for your partners' strategic plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree (either IT, Engineering, Management Engineering, or BA).
  • Ideally over 15+ years of relevant functional experience; ideally with IT experience and involved in customer account management roles in an IT vendor organization.
  • Strong leadership and depth of understanding in IT operations and projects.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work well within teams and across departments.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and navigate complex environments.
  • Advantage not required: experience of championing organizational evolution, e.g. leading initiatives, products, services, or interactions.
