Summary
Purpose: The IT Asset Analyst role is to provide efficient and timely administrative support to IT Asset Management Function. This will be a varied and busy role, where strong administrative and analytical experience, excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously are essential. This role is responsible for the control of the AQA IT assets throughout their entire lifecycle; this entails planning, managing acquisition, monitoring and ensuring compliance, managing asset inventories, usage and disposal, reporting and looking at ways to maximise value and optimise the total cost of ownership. The individual will assist in procurement activities such as raising of PO requisition and receipting of Invoices.
Landscape: Working in the IT Asset Management team the IT Asset Analyst reports into the IT Asset Manager. The IT Asset Analyst will collaborate with different stakeholders across Enterprise Technology and other AQA department to ensure all IT Asset management activities are conducted to an appropriate level of detail and are working to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles.

Key External relationships: 3rd Party suppliers of Hardware and Software.
