Key Responsibilities:

4. Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative learning environment.
5. Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular IT activities.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively and innovatively.

Person Specification:

We are looking for someone who:

1. Holds a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, along with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
2. Has a strong understanding of IT and Computing, with experience teaching a variety of topics such as programming (e.g., Python, Java), digital literacy, networks, and web design.
3. Is passionate about using technology to enhance student learning.
4. Is skilled at building positive relationships with students and staff, maintaining effective classroom management.
5. Has excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Previous experience teaching IT and Computing at Key Stage 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
