About the role:

As our IT & Telecoms Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring high performance and availability. Your role will encompass everything from Microsoft Server management to configuring and troubleshooting Ubiquiti UniFi networks. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm & some weekend on call & overtime work.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Microsoft Server Management: Install, manage, and secure Microsoft Server 2019 & 2022 environments.
2. Microsoft Hyper-V: Set up and manage virtualized environments.
3. Cloud Hosting: Deploy and manage cloud-hosted server instances in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
4. Firewall and Security Management: Configure and monitor firewalls, manage network security.
5. Ubiquiti UniFi Network Management: Set up and manage Ubiquiti UniFi networking devices.
6. VPN Configuration and Management: Set up and troubleshoot VPN solutions.
7. Windows 10 & 11 Management: Manage Windows 10 & 11 environments, provide end-user support.
8. Networking: Design and manage LAN and WAN, configure network devices.

About you:

You will need at least 3 years of experience in IT engineering roles, adept at handling Microsoft Server, virtualization, and networking. You possess hands-on experience with Ubiquiti UniFi network devices and configurations, and you are proficient in firewall management and VPN setup. You are a strong problem-solver who can work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills are a must, as is a keen understanding of the latest industry trends and best practices.
