Irrigation Service Engineer
Irrigation Service Engineer – Brandon - £38,000 - £50,000

The Job:
Our client, a leading provider of irrigation systems within the agricultural sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Irrigation Service Engineer to join their team. This role will involve the assembly, maintenance, and repair of irrigation machinery designed specifically for agricultural applications.

  1. Assemble new irrigation machinery and systems
  2. Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot existing irrigation systems
  3. Diagnose faults and perform repairs on irrigation systems to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
  4. Keep accurate records of maintenance work, repairs completed, and machinery assembly
  5. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety guidelines
  6. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects and customer satisfaction in the agricultural sector
  7. This is a split role between the workshop and field-based support

The Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar role, ideally within the agricultural sector
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing faults in machinery
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially when working with farmers and agricultural clients
- A full UK driving license (or relevant local driving requirement)
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours when needed, especially during peak agricultural seasons
- Would ideally suit someone mechanically minded

The Package:
- Competitive salary and benefits package. £38,000 - £50,000 OTE
