IRR Reporting Manager

£513.00 per day (Umbrella)

London (Hybrid)

Contract until end of September

HSBC is currently searching for an IRR Reporting Manager to join their team in London. Within this position, you will be responsible for the production and analysis of key metrics which measure the accuracy and sustainability of the regulatory reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Production and analysis of known issues (i.e., issues impacting the IRR in-scope regulatory reports)
  • Production of KPIs/KRIs and related MI for internal and external reporting purposes.
  • Coordinating BAU teams’ input as required, review and challenge to understand trends and movements.
  • Contribute systems and SME knowledge to ensure issues are identified and appropriately reported.
  • Manage proactively process improvements in the reporting to ensure timely and accurate information available for relevant forums and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder communication: appropriate and efficient communication and engagement across Finance and Risk reporting teams, programme stakeholders and wider internal governance reporting.
  • Support wider IRR planning and prioritisation.

Experience Required:

  • Data Usage Controls experience
  • Strong experience with Data Management, including but not limited to, data controls, data quality, data monitoring and understanding
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to inform others outside of the data space
  • Understanding of the risk and controls environment
  • Understanding of 1st and 2nd line of risk defence
  • QlikSense and JIRA experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to comprehend complexities, opportunities and solutions offered by systems and various digital tools
  • Proficiency in data analysis and systems impact analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Exceptional drive, motivation and commitment and focus on operational excellence.
  • Able to operate effectively under pressure and navigate ambiguity and changing
