Job Description

We are seeking experienced Iron Workers, Welders, and Fabricators for structural steel and metal installation projects in the Greater Portland, ME area. If you have at least six months of welding experience and are looking for a long-term opportunity with competitive pay and benefits, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Safely position and assemble steel girders, columns, and other structural components to build complete structures or frameworks.
  2. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine material requirements, locations, and measurements.
  3. Set up and operate hoisting equipment to raise and position steel members, using cranes, hand signals, and tag lines.
  4. Weld, bolt, and secure columns, beams, and girders according to project specifications.
  5. Verify alignment and structural integrity, making adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. At least 6 months of welding experience (structural steel experience is a plus).
  2. Ability to read blueprints and follow safety protocols.
  3. Comfortable working at heights and using hoisting equipment.
  4. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
