Role Description

Working within the FNZ Investment Operations Function you will be responsible for the processing and settlement of all financial transactions made by FNZ’s clients. The team is also tasked with processing corporate distributions and dividends, reconciling client positions and identifying and resolving fund issues. Team Responsibilities

Provide Pension Administration services to FNZ Clients, which includes dealing with FST servicing and SIPP Cash Management activities.

Specific Role Responsibilities

  1. Ensure an excellent understanding of the products administered to ensure our customers receive the optimum level of service.
  2. Motivate colleagues and encourage teamwork to ensure effective and courteous handling of all customer communications, manage customers’ expectations and fulfil any promises made and ensure any customer dissatisfaction is highlighted immediately to team management.
  3. Completion of daily allocated work and tasks, ensuring annual average productivity levels agreed are delivered and, where required, allocate work to the team ensuring completed within agreed service standards.
  4. Consistent achievement of agreed quality auditing standards and maintain process accreditation, and complete quality auditing as required on behalf of the team, providing constructive feedback and coaching on any errors identified to prevent reoccurrence.
  5. Work and financial transactions processed, and authorised, within control guidelines to minimise risk of customer dissatisfaction/breaches, taking responsibility for any dissatisfaction/breaches caused and using as an opportunity to improve the customer experience and avoid re-occurrence.
  6. Demonstrate and evidence commitment to improving the customer experience by continually reviewing processes and identifying possible areas for improvement, identifying where costs can potentially be reduced, as this may allow for investment in other areas that can benefit the customer/company.
  7. Using skills and experience provide training for key processes to other team members as requested. Provide support and guidance to colleagues with process, product and technical queries, ensuring compliance with procedures to enhance the performance of the team, ensuring technical and process updates are appropriately communicated, process guides reviewed and updated in a timely manner and contributing to project work as directed.
  8. Ownership of personal development to enhance skills and experience.
  9. Fully participate in Internal/External Client meetings/Workshops and Audits as required.
  10. Comply with the Training and development standards and requirements as outlined in FNZ's T&D Framework, including CPD.

What we are looking for

  1. Significant pension and investment operations experience.
  2. Good knowledge of UK markets, and some knowledge of European and Global markets.
  3. Industry recognised qualifications- IOC, Investment Certificate or CFA is desirable.
