The business was established in 2009 but traces its origins back over three decades and multiple economic cycles. Praxis works with a range of private equity, local authority, institutional and high net worth partners utilising its unique integrated platform and team of over 400 employees to manage and optimise all aspects of the real estate value chain. Praxis operates from offices in London, Manchester, and Birmingham.

  2. Produce quarterly market updates covering capital markets and relevant property market activity.
  3. Provide financial and commercial oversight of the current portfolio, supporting key investment decisions.
  4. Collaborate with asset managers to assess and recommend decisions on leases, capital expenditure, and asset sales to maximise investor returns.
  5. Identify and evaluate value-add initiatives, such as asset restructuring opportunities.
  6. Work closely with the finance team on portfolio valuations, covenant compliance, and the automation of financial models.
  7. Drive operational improvements, including the use of AI to enhance reconciliations and reporting.
  8. Assist in originating debt for new investments and refinancing by producing cash flow models and lender presentations.

Corporate Development (c.20%)

  1. Support fundraising efforts for new discretionary funds and separate accounts.
  2. Explore opportunities for new asset management mandates and lender work-out mandates.
  3. Review acquisition materials and cash flow models with the deal team.
  4. Contribute to corporate development initiatives, including ad hoc pitches and presentations.

Key Skills & Experience:

  1. Circa 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
  2. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
  5. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think logically and commercially.
  6. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  7. Flexibility and adaptability to support various business needs as required.
  8. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and development.

Summary:

This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth within a dynamic and entrepreneurial private equity environment. If you are commercially minded and eager to develop a broad skill set across investment, asset management, and corporate finance, we encourage you to apply.
