Investor Audit & Assurance Analyst

We are looking for an Investor Audit & Assurance Analyst in our Risk team.

This role sits in the Investor Service team where the focus is to provide assurance on key audits and controls for our Institutional Investors.

The role

You will work with all the operational teams within Funding Circle to support the coordination of delivery of audit requests, reporting, and to manage any findings.

This work is essential to the success of our products and services and the confidence that customers and investors have in Funding Circle.

  1. Develop and apply stakeholder management skills to engage with Investor related audits and internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  2. Support in the review of audit recommendations with management, agree on materiality, and track action plans with control owners.
  3. Prepare reports and Management Information (MI) for key stakeholders and support monthly forums when required, and to identify trends, root cause analysis of breaches/findings and maintain key registers/logs.
  4. Support with evidence gathering and collaborate with various internal teams to make audits more efficient whilst considering new product/system changes.
  5. Proactively problem solve, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day.

What we're looking for
  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively dealing with colleagues at all levels, including senior management.
  2. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn are important qualities in driving changes and improvements in the audit and assurance processes.
  3. A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure that the evidence provided is accurate and appropriate.
  4. Understanding the importance of controls and managing risks is fundamental to the role, as you will be involved in audit and assurance activities that help ensure compliance and mitigate risks within the organisation.

Please note, the minimum expectation for office attendance is three days per week in our central London office.
