This role is internally known as Investment Office Specialist. NFU Mutual has a rare and exciting opportunity for an Investment Office Specialist to join the Investment Office team within our highly respected and skilled Finance Division.
The Investment Office plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing NFU Mutual's investment strategies and portfolios. Its primary purpose is to ensure that our investments are aligned with the company's financial goals and risk management policies.
The primary objective of this opportunity is to assist the External Fund Selection Manager by conducting various analyses and research to aid in the selection and oversight of our external fund managers.
You'll conduct research and produce conclusions on areas including external fund manager strategies, performance, and risk metrics across a range of asset classes and geographies to help monitor existing investments and identify potential opportunities.
Additionally, you'll support the production of papers for the Executive and Board Investment Committees which include quarterly monitoring of existing investments and longer-term investment strategy.
As an Investment Office Specialist, you have strong communication skills and can easily build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Highly numerate with strong analytical and IT skills, you bring a genuine interest in all things investment-related and readily keep up to date with the latest sector trends and news.
