We're working with an entrepreneurial mid-market private equity firm. The team specialises in investments in consumer-facing businesses. They're seeking a mid-level investor or experienced corporate financier to join the team to work across the deal process.

Our client is a mid-market private equity investor that targets global investment opportunities. With a flexible mandate, the firm looks to support management teams through both growth and buyout investments. The firm uses a deal-by-deal funding structure giving additional flexibility in how it invests. You will support across the full deal cycle from origination, execution, and portfolio management and must be comfortable working with a high level of autonomy.

What the job involves
  • Work on all aspects of the transaction process across origination, deal structuring, negotiation, execution, and portfolio management.
  • Take specific responsibility for workstreams and run parts of a transaction.
  • Work actively with the portfolio post-acquisition.
  • Contribute to SPA negotiations and IC discussions.
  • Proactive work with management teams.
Who we are looking for
  • Exposure to private equity transactions ideally from another mid-market private equity firm, possible experience from within corporate finance.
  • Strong financial literacy, likely ACA qualified although not essential.
  • High EQ and a self-starter.
  • An entrepreneurial nature is required and an ability to build rapport with international management teams.
