Investment Manager - AIM / IHT

Job Purpose:

We are looking to recruit an Investment Manager in our AIMIHT team, where you will provide exceptional investment management services to clients of our AIMIHT service. Your role will focus on developing and nurturing client relationships while aligning with our strategic business objectives and adhering to FCA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, advise on, and administer client portfolios, ensuring alignment with their objectives and our investment philosophy.
• Stay informed about the investment climate and market outlook, ensuring all actions prioritise clients' best interests.
• Continuously assess client portfolios for suitability, focusing on KYC and TCF requirements.
• Promptly file and action all client communications to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure timely production and dispatch of client portfolio valuations in compliance with regulatory timelines.
• Uphold personal compliance with all regulatory matters and foster a strong compliance culture within the team.
• Maintain up-to-date records for performance reviews and T&C issues.
• Implement and adhere to the Company’s HR and Health & Safety policies.
• Delegate and monitor tasks to support staff, including transaction administration and client query handling.
• Stay updated on business relief legislation and communicate rules effectively to stakeholders.
• Develop informative content for internal and external introducers, regarding the AIMIHT proposition and AIM market stocks.
• Present to internal and external parties to drive inflows into the AIMIHT service.

About You:

• RDR compliant with a CISI Level 6 qualification or equivalent.
• Proven track record in managing a portfolio of private clients with tailored investment solutions.
• Strong understanding of business relief rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-friendly approach.
• Flexible and collaborative, thriving in a team environment.
• Extensive knowledge of investment processes and strategies across various asset classes.
• Fully conversant with the Company’s products and compliant with all procedures.
• Broad understanding of financial planning services.
• Familiarity with FCA Conduct of Business Rules and Money Laundering Regulations 2007.
• Calm under pressure with a methodical and organised work approach.
• Strong networking and negotiation abilities, with a capacity to challenge and contribute effectively.
• Highly organised and motivated, with a pragmatic approach to business.
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially in written communications.
