Investment Banking Associate - Infrastructure & Energy

Our client stands among the elite in the world of investment banking. They are currently seeking an Associate to join their debt advisory team based in London. THE ROLE

As an Associate in the debt advisory team, you will be at the forefront of landmark transactions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead financing advisory mandates across diverse sectors, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure and Energy assets
• Develop sophisticated models including DCF, LBO, merger models, and various debt structures (senior, junior, hedging)
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of industries and companies, crafting compelling marketing ideas and materials
• Prepare marketing presentations, Information Memoranda, and other crucial transaction documentation
• Collaborate closely with senior professionals, aiding in the development and maintenance of client relationships and spearheading new business initiatives.

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:

• Possesses 5-6 years of investment banking experience, with at least 4 years dedicated to infrastructure debt roles within an investment bank or lender
• Exhibits strong presentation skills and outstanding interpersonal abilities, with a readiness to engage in client interactions and thrive in a team environment
• Demonstrates exceptional financial modelling skills, particularly in cash flow and debt modelling
• Highly motivated, able to perform under pressure, results-driven, and eager to take on responsibility from the junior level
• Additional language capabilities will be considered favorably but are not essential
