Job Description:

About the Firm

We are a sector-focused boutique investment bank advising entrepreneurs, corporates, and investors at the forefront of the global energy transition. With a deep understanding of the evolving sustainability landscape, we provide high-impact M&A and capital raising advice across clean energy, energy storage, mobility, hydrogen, carbon capture, and industrial decarbonisation. Our agile structure allows us to deliver independent, senior-led advice with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Associate to join our growing Energy Transition team. The successful candidate will play a key role in live transactions and client engagements from day one, working directly with senior bankers and clients. The role offers a steep learning curve, high deal exposure, and the opportunity to help shape the growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead financial modelling, valuation (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, trading comps), and sensitivity analysis
  2. Prepare marketing materials, pitch books, investor presentations, teasers, and IMs
  3. Support deal execution including due diligence coordination, data room management, and timeline tracking
  4. Conduct market research and develop sector insights in emerging areas of the energy transition
  5. Engage directly with founders, management teams, and institutional investors
  6. Mentor Analysts and interns, contributing to team development and firm culture
  7. Contribute to origination efforts through market mapping and strategic idea generation

Candidate Profile

  1. 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, corporate finance, or a clean-tech related role
  2. Strong knowledge of the energy transition space and passion for sustainability-driven investing
  3. Excellent technical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  4. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a lean team environment
  5. Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex topics into clear client materials
  6. Proactive, entrepreneurial spirit with high standards and attention to detail
  7. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics or a related field
  8. Fluency in English; additional European languages are an asset
