Your team
You will be joining one of the leading infrastructure and power franchises in EMEA, which has a dynamic and tight knit team culture. Over the past 4 years, the team has been active in numerous high-profile transactions, and has become a leader in sell-side M&A. Key achievements include:
The team’s sector focus covers three core verticals:
As an Analyst, you will provide key analytical support in idea-origination efforts and transaction execution focused on M&A, equity / debt / private capital markets transactions, and continuation vehicles.
Your expertise
• A university degree in finance, economics, business administration, mathematics, or related technical field
• 1-2 years experience (full time or internships) in investment banking including both idea generation and transaction execution (with a focus on M&A)
• Excellent financial modelling experience (operating models / DCFs, merger models, LBOs)
• Robust understanding of asset and corporate valuation and ability to prepare Excel models and PowerPoint decks
• Solid financial and accounting skills
• Passionate and motivated to develop your career and relationships both within UBS and with your clients
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience in an investment banking role in Infrastructure and Power, or another industrial sector is preferred but not necessary
• Proficient in spoken and written English is essential; additional languages are a plus but not required
