Investment Analyst – Offshore Wind, Green Hydrogen & CCUS/CCS

Investment Analyst sought by the European Investment arm of a leading Energy platform.

With significant capital to deploy, our client is looking to add capacity to the investment team as they seek new investment opportunities in renewables and broader energy transition (including CCS/CCUS, Green Hydrogen & alternative fuels).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support initial investment review and screening of prospective investment opportunities.
2. Building, maintaining and analysing detailed financial and valuation models.
3. Preparation of regular memos, slide decks and transaction materials for board approval.
4. Monitoring and reporting on the portfolio/pipeline.
5. Market Research: Identifying and tracking market trends, economic conditions and industry developments to inform investment strategies.
6. Regulatory updates: Monitoring and analysing regulatory updates & policy changes affecting the business.

Requirements:

1. At least 1-3 years’ experience gained in an investment banking, private equity, M&A or a comparable environment.
2. Commercial exposure to the Renewable / Infrastructure sector.
3. Strong quantitative, analytical skills, financial modelling, Excel, and PowerPoint capabilities.
4. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
5. Outstanding academic record with a degree in a relevant discipline.

Hybrid working (2/3 days in London office).
