In this essential operational role, you'll take the lead in overseeing day-to-day inventory operations, supporting purchasing activities, and ensuring optimal stock availability to support continuous production and customer fulfilment. You'll play a central role in maintaining product flow and coordinating between departments to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
Oversee inventory levels to ensure supply matches demand across the production cycle.
Place and monitor purchase orders with suppliers to maintain optimum stock levels.
Conduct cycle counts and full inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor product usage, stock wastage, and trends to inform buying decisions.
Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve supply or delivery issues.
Maintain records of goods received and stock movement using ERP or Excel systems.
Ensure storage protocols meet internal safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient rotation and picking of goods.
Prepare reports for leadership teams highlighting inventory performance and risks.
Manage quarantine stock and coordinate appropriate actions based on quality protocols.
Previous experience in a stock control, inventory coordination, or supply chain support role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or stock management platforms.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively across teams.
A hands-on and proactive mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
