Job description

Are you an Inventory Analyst looking to take your career to the next level in healthcare logistics? We're hiring!


Join our team at Movianto as an Inventory Analyst at our Haydock site and play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy and operational readiness for our NHS contract. You will be paid £29,640.00 per annum, including £975.00 per annum shift allowance, working Monday to Friday (14:00 - 22:00).

Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the NHS Inventory Manager, you'll be responsible for managing inventory both physically and on our WMi system, ensuring data accuracy and seamless stock availability. Working closely with warehouse teams and the BAU inventory team, you'll provide essential insights and root cause analysis to drive improvements and efficiency. You'll also liaise with NHS contacts, supporting them with stock-related data and solutions.


How you'll make an impact as an Inventory Analyst at Movianto:

  1. Managing client inventory, including status updates for damaged or obsolete stock.
  2. Working with the NHS and Key Account Managers to ensure the correct and efficient disposal of products.
  3. Handling inventory-related queries, supporting Goods In and Returns, and ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
  4. Running reports to support stock management and working closely with warehouse teams to maintain accuracy.
  5. Leading a team of Inventory Controllers, overseeing PI checks and quality control to meet KPI targets.
  6. Planning and coordinating stock takes as required.
  7. Ensuring all reports and reconciliations are completed to a high standard within agreed timescales.


What it will take as an Inventory Analyst to thrive at Movianto:

  1. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  2. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  3. Experience leading a team and working collaboratively.
  4. High-level computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  5. Previous experience in inventory/stock control and working with Warehouse Management Systems.
