Interviewing Now - Teaching Assistant – Woking

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: £85 – £90 per day

Hours: 8:30 – 3:15 (Full-time)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have the dedication and skills to support their educational journey? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to join this dynamic team at a mainstream Secondary School in Woking.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
  2. Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  3. Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning materials and activities.
  4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  5. Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience working with young adults with SEN.
  2. A compassionate and patient approach to working with students.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  5. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
  6. Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential).
