Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Interventions Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children across Key Stage 1 who require additional academic assistance. You will work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to design and deliver targeted interventions that promote students' academic progress and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and evaluate targeted intervention programs for students with identified needs.
2. Work closely with class teachers to identify students requiring additional support.
3. Provide one-to-one and small group teaching to reinforce key concepts in literacy and numeracy.
4. Monitor and track the progress of students receiving interventions, adjusting support where necessary.
5. Collaborate with SENCO and other staff members to ensure that interventions are tailored to each child's specific learning needs.
6. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging confidence, self-esteem, and a love of learning.
7. Communicate regularly with parents and carers about student progress, providing feedback and suggestions for home support.
8. Contribute to the school's overall academic development and participate in school-wide initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in a role supporting academic interventions.
3. A solid understanding of strategies to support children with a range of learning needs.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
6. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse range of tasks.
7. A commitment to providing the highest standard of education for all learners.
