Intervention Teacher

Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire

Salary: £162.31 – £223.63 per day

Start Date: Immediate availability

GSL Education are seeking an Intervention Teacher to work within local primary schools in Hull, providing targeted support to students who require additional assistance in core subjects. Whether you are looking for full-time or part-time opportunities, we have flexible roles to suit your availability.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and experienced teacher with a passion for supporting students in their learning journey. They will have experience delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to help raise attainment.

As An Intervention Teacher, You Will
  • Plan and deliver tailored intervention sessions in English and/or Maths.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to help bridge learning gaps.
  • Adapt lessons to cater to different learning abilities, including students with additional needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff to monitor student progress and implement effective strategies.
Aspiring Applicant Attributes
  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with PGCE in relevant subject, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have experience delivering intervention programmes within primary or secondary settings.
  • Be confident in differentiating lessons to suit individual learning needs.
  • Be able to provide two professional references from the last two years of academic, vulnerable or care settings.
  • Hold a child workforce, enhanced DBS registered to the update service. Please note that GSL Education facilitates DBS applications via uCheck for your convenience.
