Job description

Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Executive required to join a leading global engineering manufacturer based in Dudley.

The successful Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Executive shall be responsible for technical advice, business development, account management generating quotations, and other more for all mechanical engineering products and services on offer.

The Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Executive will ideally come from any sales / commercial background associated with mechanical engineering such as chains, sprockets, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressed air, bearings, motors, gearboxes, generators, fittings, pipework, fastenings, valves, actuators and or similar mechanical engineering products / services. Full training is being provided.

Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Executive Role
  1. Responsible for technical advice, business development, account management generating quotations, and other more for all mechanical engineering products and services on offer.
  2. Provide technical support and cover to other Sales Engineers for products such as mechanical chains, sprockets, valves, lubrication and more.
  3. Be responsible for order processing, invoicing, checking order confirmations.
  4. Product specification plus after sales and service support of mechanical engineering related products on offer.
  5. Liaise with various engineering departments.
  6. Commutable to the office daily in Dudley.

Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Executive Requirements
  1. Experience of sales associated with mechanical engineering such as chains, sprockets, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressed air, bearings, motors, gearboxes, generators, fittings, pipework, fastenings, valves, actuators and or similar mechanical engineering products / services. Full training is being provided.
  2. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering distributor.
  3. Have the confidence to chase leads, hunt new business and drive sales of all mechanical engineering products and services.
  4. Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Sales Advisor, sales engineer or similar, within mechanical engineering.
  5. Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree in engineering would be beneficial.
  6. Must be commutable to the office in Dudley.
