Internal Sales Coordinator required for a supplier of processing equipment, pumps, valves, etc based in Doncaster. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role and similar industry already but alternatively the client will consider someone with technical engineering qualifications. This role has the opportunity to progress to Applications Engineer.

Internal Sales Coordinator - Engineering Position Overview

• Managing and developing a portfolio of existing accounts, effectively maintaining profitability
• Dealing with incoming customer queries and providing advice and solutions
• Undertaking outbound activity to help identify and target new customers
• Working closely with and supporting the external sales team
• Administration of sales orders/quotations, ensuring customer expectations are met and excellent communication is maintained at all times.
• Regular use of internal CRM system
• Processing of sales and purchases through the Sage accounts system
• Procurement including obtaining the best pricing for the customer and business.
• To update orders on the system where appropriate, and inform customers of any amendments eg quantity, delivery date.
• To ensure all relevant information regarding delivery times, code numbers, requirements for Certificate of Conformity etc are correct.
• Support the external sales function from quotations through to purchasing.

Internal Sales Coordinator - Engineering Position Requirements

Recent Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or similar or the below:

• 3 years of industry / product / role experience
• Previous administrative experience
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office including Word / Excel / Outlook
• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to spot other opportunities with the client
• Account management / customer service to a high level
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in the use of Sage Accounts sales and purchases
• Excellent telephone manner
• If you are fluent in Italian this would be an advantage although it is not a requirement

Internal Sales Coordinator - Engineering Position Remuneration

• Salary dependent on experience 25k- 30k
• 08:00-17:00 Monday-Thursday, 08:00-16:00 Friday
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
