We are proud to be an Equal Opportunities Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees - a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed on merit.

Our vision is to put children and young people at the heart of everything we do.

We have a clear single focus to deliver excellent social work and family support for the city’s most vulnerable children, young people and families.

Recognised by Ofsted as being a ‘Good’ provider of children’s social care, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join Birmingham Children’s Trust as an Internal Recruiter.

As a key member of the HR team, you will report to the Talent Acquisition Partner.

As the Internal Recruiter, your role will include:

  2. Working closely with key customers and external stakeholders.
  3. Monitoring the agency master vendor contract daily operation.
  4. Ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
  5. Proactively seeking opportunities to build relationships.
  6. Providing professional advice to stakeholders both face to face and digital.
  7. Having the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Having excellent communication, organisation and planning skills.
  9. Building effective collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders and team members.
  10. Being an effective self-starter, with the ability to prioritise your work to meet deadlines while remaining focused in this fast-paced environment.
  11. Experience of undertaking high volume agency and permanent recruitment and selection ideally in the social care field or similar.
  12. In-depth knowledge of recruitment and selection practices, policies and legislation.
  13. Experience of managing high volume bespoke recruitment campaigns, supporting hiring managers with writing advertisements, shortlisting, applying selection methods, making offers, and onboarding.
  14. Demonstrable working knowledge of using recruitment and selection social media platforms.

The role will be part of a strong, supportive team where you can further develop your professional skills. For further details on the role, please review the job description/person specification.
