Summary: The role of the Facilities & Asset Management Advisory team is to provide a range of specialist advice and support to clients to improve the value and performance of their Facilities Management and Asset Management functions. We achieve this by alignment of FM and Asset Management with organisational culture, values, strategy and objectives whilst embedding industry best practices and consideration of the latest prop tech. We work collaboratively with clients to identify improvement opportunities and support the implementation of changes to deliver the benefits.
Role Overview: As an Intern, you will be enrolled into the G&T Industry Insights Programme which will provide you with an understanding of the role of a Facilities & Asset Management consultant, the wider firm and the industry. Working within a team, you will be assisting with various aspects of daily project work as requested by your supervisor, working with a certain level of independence to complete tasks, while also knowing when to discuss and ask questions to ensure the best outcome. The role will be varied, and the actual experience gained will be dependent on the team and sector you are working in. Those interns who excel throughout the placement will be offered the opportunity of sponsorship for their ongoing studies and an opportunity to return to the firm for further experience/a role on successful completion of their current studies.

Life Cycle Costs: We provide specialist life cycle cost advice, and whole life carbon analysis to developers, constructors, occupiers, funders, SPVs, and operators of new build and existing facilities. We work with our clients to develop / understand their life cycle cost objectives and tailor our services accordingly, ranging from benchmarking for strategic business cases to detailed as-built life cycle replacement and maintenance cost plans.
Soft Landings: The team advocates that all stakeholders of new or refurbished built assets benefit where the project is conceived, designed, procured, built and handed over with the occupier, end user, operator and maintainer at the heart of the process, otherwise known as Soft Landings. We provide Soft Landings maturity assessments, bespoke Soft Landings processes design and implementation, including operations advisory support for individual projects alongside an array of life cycle advice.
