Intermediated Sales Associate - Salary £29,000

As an Intermediated Sales Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in Aviva's growth - supporting our intermediary partners and helping deliver our commercial goals across the Specialised Trading Space.
A bit about the job:
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our Intermediated Sales team. Acting as a key contact for our intermediary partners, you'll build trusted relationships, support account strategies, and help deliver outstanding service that leads to sustainable, profitable growth. You will:
- Develop and handle productive relationships with aligned intermediaries, helping them deliver the best outcomes for their customers.
- Support the delivery of SME new business and retention targets across your assigned panel.
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers to shape and implement tailored growth plans.
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Customer Service, Sales Support, Marketing, Propositions, and Pricing to ensure a compelling and driven proposition.
- Maintain a proactive, organised, and insight-led approach to relationship and performance management.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Experience in a sales or retention role within financial services or a customer-focused environment.
- A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a panel of accounts independently.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Collaborative approach and a passion for working as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the Private Medical Insurance (PMI) market is a plus, but not essential.
What you'll get for this role:
- Starting salary £29,000
- Bonus opportunity - 8% (C grade) of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
