Job Description

My client is seeking an Intermediate Java/Spring Developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications, primarily using Spring Boot and other modern Java frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance software solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Design, implement, and optimise database solutions using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
• Work with version control systems, particularly Git, to manage source code effectively.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure software quality.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to software development.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Java development with a focus on the Spring ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
