I am delighted to be seeking a talented Interior Designer to join a well-established Architectural Practice who use their extensive experience to deliver creative and inspiring projects across a number of sectors including education, residential, and retail. Their dedicated team pride themselves on cultivating long-term relationships with repeat clients. Working for this dynamic practice ensures excellent career progression and regular training within a supportive and friendly working environment. You will be joining a highly reputable Architectural design practice with multiple offices across the UK and high-profile clients. They are seeking a driven Interior Designer with retail project experience to join their social team in Nottingham.

The successful Interior Designer will have post-qualification experience in an Architecture/Interior Design practice, with experience working on retail projects and a good understanding of building regulations.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Interior Designer:

1. Degree in Interior Design or similar
2. A couple of years of post-qualification experience in a UK Architectural Practice
3. Well versed in AutoCAD, the Adobe Suite, and SketchUP
4. Excellent FF&E knowledge and sourcing skills
5. Strong technical drawings
6. Proven record working on projects for the retail sector
7. Confident liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other professionals
8. Great presentation abilities
9. Capable of producing mood boards for presentation
10. Attend site visits and meetings
11. Strong drawing skills for elevations and layouts
12. Comprehensive Building Regulation knowledge
13. Live locally to Nottingham
14. Proactive and positive attitude
