I am delighted to be seeking a talented Interior Designer to join a well-established Architectural Practice who use their extensive experience to deliver creative and inspiring projects across a number of sectors, including education, residential, and retail. Working for this dynamic practice ensures excellent career progression and regular training within a supportive and friendly working environment. You will be joining a highly reputable Architectural design practice with several offices across the UK, working alongside high-profile clients. They are seeking a driven Interior Designer with Retail project experience to join their social team in Nottingham.

The successful Interior Designer will have post-qualification experience in an Architecture/Interior Design practice, with experience working on retail projects and a good understanding of building regulations.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Interior Designer:

• Degree in Interior Design or similar
• A couple of years of post-qualification experience in a UK Architectural Practice
• Well versed in AutoCAD, the Adobe Suite, and SketchUp
• Excellent FF&E knowledge and sourcing skills
• Strong technical drawings
• Proven record working on projects for the retail sector
• Confident liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other professionals
• Great presentation abilities
• Capable of producing mood boards for presentation
• Attend site visits and meetings
• Strong drawing skills for elevations and layouts
• Comprehensive Building Regulation knowledge
• Live locally to Nottingham
• Proactive and positive attitude
