Interim Supply Chain Director

INTERIM SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR

Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Contract: Fixed term for 12 months

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum, pro rata dependent on experience

Location: New Milton, Hybrid with requirement to travel to our other office in Norwich

This role is a UK based role and any hybrid/remote work must also be within the UK.

Start Date: ASAP

For this role, you need 5 Mbps upload and 15 Mbps download internet speed.

Are you a seasoned supply chain expert with a passion for leadership and strategic planning? We're looking for an Interim Supply Chain Director who excels in managing complex supply chain functions and is dedicated to training their successor for a seamless transition.

What You Bring:

• Supply Chain Mastery: Deep understanding of procurement, inventory management, S&OP, distribution, and reverse logistics.
• Leadership Prowess: Proven experience leading supply chain teams in both conventional and consumer-driven environments.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute strategies that align with business goals.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Expertise in managing global supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and performance management.
• Operational Excellence: Skilled in driving efficiency through lean or agile methodologies.
• Sustainability Focus: Knowledge of ethical sourcing, environmental compliance, and reverse logistics.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Certifications: CSCP, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency with supply chain management tools, data analytics platforms, and ERP systems.
• Leadership & Influence: Ability to inspire and lead diverse teams across global locations.
• Collaborative Spirit: Skilled in working across functions and with external partners to achieve objectives.

THE ROLE

As the Interim Supply Chain Director, you'll oversee Planning & Analysis, Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Reverse Logistics. Your mission: ensure our supply chain is efficient, responsive, and resilient, meeting the evolving demands of our business.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive operational excellence, enhance supplier performance, and boost customer satisfaction.
