Job description

Ashley Kate HR are pleased to be working with our Public sector client in Cheshire as they recruit an Interim Recruitment Assistant, during a period of change. This contract will be for approx 6-8 months.

The role will support a number of business divisions, providing effective administrative support with day-to-day resourcing activities for the People and Organisational Development function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be a point of contact for candidates and managers, supporting them with recruitment packs and leading in all candidate communication to ensure a professional and timely candidate experience.
  • Assist in the planning and organisation of recruitment and development events including careers fairs, Princes Trust activities, apprenticeship scheme selection, and school work experience programmes.
  • Referencing and compliance checking.
  • Maintain ATS and documentation such as offer letters, contracts of employment, job descriptions, and update HR systems to reflect changes to employment and ensure employee information is kept up to date.
  • Support HR BP teams with recruitment data collation for reporting purposes.
  • Manage and support all ad hoc administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a recruitment-driven role, whether as an internal recruiter or a HR assistant who has managed vast recruitment and onboarding activities. An immediate start is required. This is a part-time role, 4 days per week (29 hours) and will be site-based. Some travel to other local sites may be required on occasion.
