Your new company

A well-established national construction company based in North Manchester is seeking an experienced accountant to join their finance team for 3 - 6 months whilst they recruit a permanent replacement.

Your new role

In your new role you'll be supporting the Managing Director with adhoc projects whilst taking full ownership of the Financial and Management Accounts of 2 entities. You will have full control of the P&L whilst providing commercial support to Senior Stakeholders - finance and non-finance. You will also support and manage a small finance team. You will be completing a hand-over from the current Management Accountant who is leaving the business. Due to this, there is a genuine 'temp to perm' opportunity for the right candidate.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (QBE will also be considered) and have previous experience in a similar role. The client has stated that due to the urgency of the role, you will need to be available to start within 2 weeks. Construction property would be preferred and an advantage, but not a requirement.

What you'll get in return

You'll receive a daily rate of up to £325 a day whilst joining a well established business that offers immediate exposure, with excellent prospects for personal/career progression and development. Due to the importance, you will be required to be on site full time during the handover. After this, there will be more flexibility.
