Job Description:

A high-growth challenger bank is looking for an Interim Lawyer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract starting ASAP. Day rate, inside IR35, with the opportunity to extend or go permanent for the right candidate. City location, hybrid working 2/3 day split.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on and drafting material outsourcing agreements
  • Drafting commercial contracts and technology agreements for the bank, including SaaS licensing agreements
  • Advising on client-facing documentation, supporting the product and customer service teams
  • Supporting on regulatory change programs and responding to requirements from the regulators
  • Working with the product development team, providing commercial advice, horizon scanning, and risk management
  • Providing general legal advice to the business

You will be 4+ years PQE as a guide, with experience gained in private practice or in-house as a commercial lawyer within a tech or fintech environment. The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is critical to your continued success in this role.
