Interim L&D Project Manager - Learning and Skills portfolio

Competitive day rate

Working for a leading global FMCG brand. In this Interim L&D Project Manager role, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing this FMCG's learning and development strategy in a move to a skills-based learning approach, with a focus on enhancing operational productivity and team effectiveness.

You will work closely with the Head of Learning Operations to manage and support various learning improvement projects. Responsibilities include:

  1. Coordinating project activities
  2. Managing project timelines and budgets
  3. Gathering requirements and feedback on L&D projects
  4. Defining and prioritising skills development for Learning & Development
  5. Designing and delivering comprehensive learning and skills development experiences
  6. Ensuring alignment of learning initiatives with organizational goals and individual career paths

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience in a global matrix FMCG/retail environment or equivalent
  2. Strong project management skills
  3. Ability to identify and address potential risks and issues in project execution
  4. A keen interest in enhancing learning and development initiatives
  5. Experience using Project Management software including Microsoft Project or Trello

It is essential that you can work at pace in a complex matrix business with different priorities and can demonstrate experience of improving or implementing strategies within learning. You must also be able to document processes and templates that are easily accessible. Additionally, you should be able to start a new role on short notice and commit to working in a hybrid manner 3 days per week from the Central London office.
