Interim Health and Safety Manager Manufacturing & Transport Avonmouth
Day Rate: £300-£400 (Inside IR35)
Duration: 3 to 6 Months
Start: ASAP

Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional who thrives on making a real impact? We re working with a well-established Manufacturing and Transport organisation in Avonmouth who are looking for an Interim Health and Safety Manager to support their site over the next 3 to 6 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity to drive meaningful change and support a busy operational environment with a strong focus on cultural improvement and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct a full gap analysis and provide a clear action plan
2. Work closely with on-site teams to positively influence H&S culture
3. Support the closure of outstanding actions and audit recommendations
4. Guide and mentor the on-site Health and Safety Advisor
5. Be a visible, hands-on presence across the operation

What We re Looking For:

1. Proven experience in a similar H&S leadership role within Manufacturing or Transport
2. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
3. Ability to engage teams at all levels and lead by example
4. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
