Job: Interim Financial Controller

Location: Hertfordshire

Day rate: c500

Length of contract: minimum 3 months


Our client is in search of an Interim Financial Controller in Hertfordshire to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for leading the finance team and supporting the company's vision. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a diverse team, contribute to the company's growth, and make a significant impact on its future success.


Responsibilities include:
  • Managing a small team; supporting and coaching the finance team
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, including daily cash flow forecasting
  • Spotting cost-saving opportunities and improving processes to enhance efficiencies across the business
  • Overseeing monthly management accounts preparation, ensuring timely completion
  • Supervising the fixed asset process, including depreciation
  • Completion of quarterly VAT returns
The ideal candidate will have:
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Proven track record in managerial roles
  • Highly proficient in Excel

This role offers hybrid work and is offering c£500pd.
