Job description

A growing SME business has approached CMA exclusively for support in recruiting an Interim Financial Controller for an initial period of 3 months.

This position will report to the Managing Director and support the organisation whilst the business considers a long-term hire.

What will the Interim Financial Controller role involve?

  • Review monthly reporting processes and suggest/implement improvements.
  • Review finance team and recommend future requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and forecasting, analysing business performance.

Suitable Candidate for the Interim Financial Controller vacancy:

  • Candidates will ideally be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified and have worked within an SME business covering a well-rounded finance role. Manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Prior team management experience is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to partner with a range of non-finance stakeholders across the business.
