Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a leading organisation in Warwick. This role offers the chance to oversee all accounting operations, manage financial reporting cycles, and work closely with stakeholders on key strategic initiatives.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger
  • Manage financial reporting cycles ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Monitor cash flow and assess the financial impact of proposed projects
  • Coordinate the planning, budgeting and forecasting process for UK and Ireland
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets
  • Manage local treasury functions and cash flow forecasting
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making
  • Provide leadership, development and direction to Finance team

What you bring:

  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA required
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
  • Significant experience in a senior financial management role (c8-10 years minimum)
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Experience with financial reporting and compliance
  • Proven track record of building team capability and nurturing staff development
