Interim Financial Accountant job in Plymouth

Location: Plymouth Area of Devon
Type: Full-Time (1 day WFH per week)
Rate: £250 - £350 per day
Duration: Interim, at least 6 months on a day rate basis
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role: Hays are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to join our client's large manufacturing organisation based in the Plymouth area of Devon. This is a full-time role with the flexibility of working from home one day per week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of statutory accounts in compliance with IFRS (must have)
2. Managing tax and compliance requirements
3. Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
4. Supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks

Requirements:

1. Proven experience with IFRS, statutory accounts, tax, and compliance
2. Ideally fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), but QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates will also be considered
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
