This Interim Financial Accountant is a crucial role within the Financial Accounting department within an established Housing Association, ensuring timely completion of statutory accounts and being a key point of contact for audit.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established, medium-sized Housing Association based in London. Their focus is providing quality homes at below-market rents for people who would otherwise struggle to afford them.
Description
- Responsible for the timely completion of the statutory accounts
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheets
- Responsible for the accurate completion of the Group's and individual company VAT return/s in compliance with the statutory deadlines
- Responsible for posting monthly journals and reconciling control accounts
- Assisting with internal and external audit, answering any queries when required
Profile
A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:
- CCAB qualified
- Experience in Housing Associations
- Experience in producing statutory accounts
- Experience in assisting in audits
