Job description

This Interim Financial Accountant is a crucial role within the Financial Accounting department within an established Housing Association, ensuring timely completion of statutory accounts and being a key point of contact for audit.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established, medium-sized Housing Association based in London. Their focus is providing quality homes at below-market rents for people who would otherwise struggle to afford them.

Description

  1. Responsible for the timely completion of the statutory accounts
  2. Prepare and review monthly balance sheets
  3. Responsible for the accurate completion of the Group's and individual company VAT return/s in compliance with the statutory deadlines
  4. Responsible for posting monthly journals and reconciling control accounts
  5. Assisting with internal and external audit, answering any queries when required

Profile

A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:

  • CCAB qualified
  • Experience in Housing Associations
  • Experience in producing statutory accounts
  • Experience in assisting in audits
