A well-respected Edinburgh-based financial services business who have been through a significant period of growth are in the market for an interim financial accountant. The organisation has a great culture and a global presence.

Your new role

Working in a finance function of 5 qualified professionals, acting as consolidation and reporting lead, this contract is to provide additional support during year-end for an initial period of 6 months with a high likelihood of extension.

Duties:

1. Preparation of year-end statutory accounts in accordance with reporting guidelines
2. Consolidation of multi-entity accounts
3. Ownership for corp tax computations and managing outsourced function
4. Controls and process improvement

What you'll need to succeed:

You will have previous experience working within the financial services sector and have a track record of taking ownership of reporting. You will need to be a qualified accountant with up-to-date accounting standards knowledge, consolidations, and tax experience.
