Interim Financial Accountant

Are you passionate about finance and skilled in navigating complex statutory reporting? We are looking for a meticulous and results-driven Financial Accountant to join our client’s team!

Due to a period of growth and change we are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant for a circa £100m turnover business in Chesterfield. This is an initial 6-month assignment.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
  • Prepare and deliver accurate statutory financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Delivery of monthly/annual financial accounts in a timely manner (Profit and Loss / Balance Sheet / Cash Flow).
  • Ensure timely filing of financial reports and liaise with auditors.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with tax regulations and accounting policies.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
Requirements of the Financial Accountant:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in statutory accounting and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax legislation.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
