Interim Finance Manager (Maternity Cover)

Our client, a leading commercial real estate company, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team in London. This role offers the opportunity to take primary responsibility for much of the Group’s internal and external financial reporting. The successful streamlining financial processes, and driving the company's annual plan process. This is an 8-month contract position, perfect for those looking for a challenging yet rewarding role.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the quarterly financial management reporting process
  • Oversee the annual financial statements preparation process
  • Manage the annual external audit programme; act as principal contact for external auditors
  • Handle cash reporting, including liquidity forecasts
  • Ensure compliance reporting on third party financing
  • Liaise with external tax advisers on compliance and reporting matters
  • Review VAT returns for all companies
  • Conduct review of balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
  • Manage arrears reporting
  • Responsible for consolidated financials which support the company’s Annual Plan process

What you bring:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with 7+ years of post-qualified experience
  • Proficient in Office 365 skills, particularly Excel
  • Confident in use of IT systems
  • Experience in the UK real estate sector is beneficial
  • Experience of JD Edwards finance system is advantageous
  • Strong communicator with ability to interact with all levels of staff within the business and external providers

You will need to be able to start in May.

4 days in office, 1 day WFH.
